Abstract

The Hibbs Institute for Business and Economic Research at the University of Texas at Tyler was contacted by the Athens Economic Development Corporation to conduct a Labor Market Occupational Profile of some selected occupations in Athens, TX and its vicinity. The Athens Economic Development Corporation is interested in understanding the current labor market with respect to specific occupations, or targeted jobs, associated with Production and Management within a drive-time radius of 45 to 60 minutes from the City of Athens, Texas.
