Abstract

The Hibbs Institute for Business and Economic Research at the University of Texas at Tyler was contacted by the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Tyler to conduct a Demographic Profile of the Tyler Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The Christian Women’s Job Corps of Tyler is interested in understanding the demographic composition of Tyler with a special emphasis in the local Hispanic population, as well as the most recent estimates on the number of Spanish speakers in the area.
