Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify if there is a correlation to those that identify as Christian nationalist and common stereotypes. It is important to note that there is a difference between Christian and Christian nationalism. An example of a Christian nationalist would be someone wanting to define America as a Christian nation and wanting the government to promote a specific cultural template as the official culture of the country. Furthermore, Stereotypes can be described as an overgeneralization of a specific group of people. The Independent variable is Christianity, and the dependent variable is stereotypes. Therefore, the research proposal question is: Does having views of a Christian nationalist influence stereotypical views?
