The Campus Master Plan of Texas Eastern University as originally prepared was based upon a study made by the Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System, in 1970. The Board of Regents of Texas Eastern University approved the Campus Plan in December, 1973, and submitted it to the Coordinating Board. This plan was generally followed; but changes in enrollment, programs, and facility needs that were not originally visioned at the time made it necessary to revise the original plan to reflect past changes, current developments, and future projections. This revised Campus Master Plan should serve the university for the next ten-year period.
