Abstract
The purpose of this research study is to determine if social media has an influence on college students' perspectives of police brutality. For the purpose of this research project we gathered data from a small sample of people using non probability sampling via convenience sampling method in regards to who will be receiving a survey. We found that the majority has some form of social media. According to the data that we gathered, most of the participants do research for further context after watching videos of police officers using excessive force.
