Abstract
This paper discusses the use of outpatient intravenous antibiotics in comparison to inpatient intravenous antibiotics. Hospital admission rates, cost of care for patients and facilities, length of stay, patient experience, and patient outcomes are compared and evaluated with treatment to determine the efficacy of use.
