Abstract
In order to properly provide care for patients presenting to the emergency room with exacerbations of mental illness, appropriate education should be provided. Holistic care that has been taught to all healthcare professionals should also be practiced at all times. With the appropriate care being provided, healthcare for patients suffering with a mental illness can find healing care that is free of discrimination and bias.
