Abstract

This brief analyzes how automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping Tyler's labor market, identifying which occupations are most at risk and which may grow. It shows a significant share of local jobs are exposed to automation, but also highlights opportunities in roles requiring human skills and advanced technical training. The brief recommends workforce development and retraining to help the region's workers adapt and thrive in an increasingly automated economy.
