Abstract

The purpose for this paper is to explore how non-normal distributions impact the differences in the obtained null hypothesis test decision when comparing parametric and non-parametric analyses of the same non-normal data. The obtained effect size estimates will also be computed and compared to determine how the interpretation of the effect might differ for non-normal distributions in both the parametric and nonparametric condition.
