Ethnography of educational leadership in Belize and the United States

Abstract

This ethnography addresses two specific research questions: What are similarities and differences between educational leadership in Belize and the United States, and what does this comparison suggest regarding global education initiatives? This narrative describes an educational system that has many of the challenges of a developing country, but also has the same foundational issues throughout the world that are related to educating students and addressing stakeholder needs.
